Julie Hirigoyen

Julie was CEO of the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC), from 2015 until 2023, and has  been credited with transforming its strategy into a more member-focused, holistic sustainability agenda with a strong focus on impact measurement.

Julie is a Commissioner on the London Sustainable Development Commission, Chairs the Igloo Footprint Advisory Board, and sits on both the Green Construction Board and Grimshaw’s Stewardship Group. Julie was named one of three best persons of the decade by Property Week in December 2019.

Julie was previously UK Head of Sustainability and International Director at JLL.
