NGOs

We held an initial meeting  to which we invited key UK NGOs. Attendees included representatives from Human Rights Watch, Fair Trade Foundation, Amnesty, Oxfam, Which?, Christian Aid, Cafod, Save the Children, Tearfund and WWF. They felt that we should use our convening power to help create a dialogue with business and representatives from wider society, to include NGOs and others, focused on addressing specific issues.

Dialogue with investors

Many people feel that the dialogue between investors and companies focuses unhealthily on short-term returns. We have therefore established a forum to engage with the investor community to explore how the Blueprint can be used to broaden and deepen investor conversations.

In the coming months we will be engaging with a wider group of investors to include asset owners and asset managers to explore further how Blueprint can be used.

Thematic Workshops

We regularly host roundtable discussions to facilitate thoughtful and timely conversations between businesses, NGOs and other relevant bodies. In 2016 we held discussions on:

  • Mental health in the workplace
  • Executive pay
  • The future of work in the age of automation

Similar Organisations

We try not to duplicate work that others are already doing, and where possible try to collaborate with individuals and organisations with whom we share a common goal.
